The Machete is a melee weapon in Experimental Rust with good durability and damage output. It is one of the best melee weapons in the game.
The Machete can be thrown by equipping it in the hotbar and pressing right-click, forcefully hurling the object at least a few meters. It doesn't just drop the item but will do damage if it hits an animal, player or structure. It can be retrieved by mousing over it and pressing the Use key (default "E").
